The Myler English Dee with Hooks MB 01 is a mild bit that offers independent movement of each side. Whereas typical snaffles are fastened together in a single joint, this bit is designed so that the sides unite in a fuse that allows each piece to swivel independently of the other. This means that you can lift and engage one side of the bit without affecting the other side, leading to clearer communication between you and your horse. This independent side movement is particularly helpful when schooling your horse in bending, collecting, and balancing himself. The Myler English Dee with Hooks MB 01 is made of Stainless Steel for excellent durability and the prevention of rust or corrosion. It features a copper inlay on the mouthpiece to encourage salivation. Its mouthpiece is curved, allowing your horse to swallow, and it is built with your horse’s comfort in mind. This bit is a Myler Level One bit, meaning that it is suitable for horses in the beginning stages of training who have begun to break at the poll. It applies some pressure to the bars of the horse’s mouth, but mostly applies tongue pressure.
