From the Barn to Out on the Town

Sure, I have plenty of barn outfits that I end up wearing out, cute or not, because it's convenient for that moment. However, Goode Rider is a brand that I actually CHOOSE to wear out on the town. Even if I'm not already at the barn, they are thrown into my going out clothes selection. All of their products are so versatile and high quality, it's worth spending the little bit of extra money. Recently I got the Goode Rider Long Sleeve Polo and the Vogue Jean Full Seat breeches and instantly fell in love!

The Goode Rider Long Sleeve Polo is a fun addition to your wardrobe! It’s silky soft and hugs your body in all the right places making it super flattering. It’s made up of 67% bamboo, 25% polyester and 8% spandex. The bamboo is the key to how amazingly soft this shirt is. It also allows for optimal airflow while riding; I always stay cool and dry in this shirt.

The contrast stitching and embroidery details give this shirt a lot of character! Each color variation has a different saying on the back; the one I have(mulberry) says, “Happy Hour” with a cross country themed design. Very fitting for the happy hour event I wore it to! Another fancy feature of this shirt is the pretty mother of pearl buttons on the outside of the sleeves and down the V- neck. I always get a lot of compliments while wearing this shirt, both at the barn and when I’m out, which is always a plus in my book! This shirt typically runs small, I would suggest getting a size up.

I paired the polo with the Goode Rider Vogue Jean Full Seat breeches. The amount of stretch to these jeans is PHENOMENAL. Made of a composition of specially twisted yarn, they have a ton of give and a soft, velvet like feel. I can bend over to pick Bentley’s hooves, put my boots on, put her boots on, etc. without them coming down or gapping at the waist, thanks to the custom fit stretch waistband. I like that these are a mid-rise, if you’ve read my past reviews I only rock with mid or high-rise pants. They feel more secure and comfortable to me. The subtle whips on the hook and bar buttons as well as the embroidered whips on the back pockets are little dainty, stylish features.

Although the silicone full seat is functional in the saddle, it is also very fashionable out of the barn because the equestrian look is hot right now. Celebrities are totally rocking the breech look, and I’ve seen lots of people wearing tall riding boots downtown Chicago this past winter.
